MO Pain MO Gain
There are between 10,000 and 20,000 hairs on a man’s face, and the average moustache has 600. So when I learnt that by letting these select few grow on my face could be a way to raise money for charity, of course, I wanted to take part. But there was one problem, I already had a moustache.
So after a few days of researching facial hair and what felt like a journey around the world in 80 moustaches, it became apparent. I had to go BIG. Cue the bleach! Peroxide applied and after a number of slightly burning minutes, my tash was orange. Oh No! Back on with the peroxide, I was ready for round 2 and eventually my Mo was ready to go! Bleach blonde. Looking good and feeling fine, I was ready for Movember! It may all seem like a bit of fun and I’m definitely living my Viking Fantasy, but Movember really is an amazing opportunity. It allows us to raise money and awareness for men’s mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
If you would like to support the cause and learn more about the incredible work Movember do, please donate by following the link below.
Since the support received so far has exceeded all expectations so if the new milestone is reached you may be in with a chance of picking the next colour I dye my Mo!
Peace and love,
